“ Just returned from Mexico for my cataract surgery checkup, and on my way to a listing appointment recommended by my wonderful Filipino community, I stumbled upon a gem of a taco restaurant: Tacos el Yiyo! Located at 10933 W Buckeye Rd, Avondale, AZ, this place instantly brought back memories of some of the best tacos I've ever had. I decided to treat myself and ordered a delightful mix: 2 steak tacos, 2 al Pastor, 1 chicken taco, and a refreshing Mexican Coke, all for just $15. Initially, the tacos tasted decent, but once I loaded them up with fresh onions, cilantro, pickled onions, carrots, grilled jalapeños, and a variety of other toppings, they transformed into something truly magical! Each bite was a burst of flavor that made my taste buds dance with joy. I can't wait to return, especially after my photography appointment. I plan to leave a little early so I can savor more of those incredible tacos. I have a feeling that the meats will taste even better when they come straight off the grill, and I’m looking forward to experiencing that deliciousness again.
